If like me, you struggle with either getting to sleep or staying asleep, then you'll know how frustrating it can be! I've tried all sorts over the years, including things like magnesium and melatonin; however, I have found that magnesium does really help me get to sleep initially. However, after 4 or 5 hours I often wake back up and then struggle to go back to sleep, so I've been looking for something to help me stay asleep as well.First impressions are pretty good; you get 60 sugar-free gummies in the bottle, each containing a blend of magnesium (from Magnesium Glycinate), L-Theanine, Ashwagandha, Passionflower, Lemon Balm, Chamomile. Basically a good range that can promote relaxation and help stop racing thoughts. The gummies themselves are about the width of a 5p and have an aroma of raspberry. They are soft to chew and sweet but pretty tasty and have no bitter aftertaste. The bottle is well sealed with a screw top, so they'll stay fresh for ages. One observation compared to my other brands is that they contain significantly less magnesium glycinate, only 10mg, whereas others contain 100 mg+.Effect-wise, I have been finding these do help me get off to sleep; I usually take one about 20 minutes before bed, and by the time I climb in, I'm out like a light. They also help me stay asleep for longer, meaning I often sleep through the night; however, I would not say they are as effective as my other brand with more magnesium content, however.Overall, at £16 for 60 (27p each), these are more expensive than my alternative by nearly 10p a dose, and they are not as effective in my opinion. So I can't really recommend them on that basis alone, but they are well made and tasty.
